PCS recently held a webinar on PCI Compliancy and introduced Digital Resource Group (DRG). DRG can assist a utility on becoming PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant. DRG is approved by the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) as a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV), and by Visa USA as a Qualified Payment Application Security Company (QPASC). PCI compliance has several levels of participation. Levels can range from a simple questionnaire to a more complex process. All utilities that handle, process, or transmit credit card data, will need to complete a level of compliancy.
If you missed the webinar, or would like to review it again, you may access it by logging into the client area of the PCS website.
1. The first link is for the PowerPoint slides only.
2. The second link is the actual recording of the meeting with the PowerPoint presentation. Click the link and you will be taken to a page requesting your name.
3. Enter your name. The meeting ID is already filled in, the meeting key is not required, and click on “view recording”.
4. Click on either presentation, depending on your viewing software. This may take a few minutes to download.
5. Once the webinar begins, you may see a repetition of a few screens at first while additional people are joining the webinar. The presentation will begin shortly after that, or you can just skip to third slide labeled, “Presentation & Recording” to begin immediately.
As you begin the process of becoming PCI compliant, there may be some questions on the compliancy questionnaire that will relate to PCS, your software provider. PCS will be posting questions and answers relating to PCS on our website for clients to use in completing the questionnaire. Watch for updates in the near future.
