The PCS Management Team Approach
PCS is managed by a team of experienced dedicated people who believe in the approach of the sum being greater than the total of individual skills and personalities. The Management Team functions as a board of directors and makes all strategic decisions of the Company. While its CEO provides strong leadership, the PCS culture is one of teamwork. Strategic decisions are made with careful analysis and with contributions made by each Management Team member bringing their individual skill sets into the information gathering and decision making process. PCS has been successful over many years with this approach. The Management Team is made up of the following staff members.

As the founder and leader of PCS, Kim serves as the driving force behind the PCS vision. Kim is a seasoned business analyst and has been a leader in the utility industry for over 28 years. Kim is well versed in current utility industry "hot" issues such as hosting, e-Commerce, regulatory issues, technologies associated with Smart Grid, etc. His mission, as President/CEO of PCS, is to provide utility companies with viable, cost-effective solutions. As a recognized authority on utility issues in the software industry, Kim has assisted electric utility companies throughout the United States in the quest for innovative management systems. Kim is a true pioneer in the utility industry.
Jim Christensen

Prior to joining PCS in 1996, Jim served as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Denison area for 31years, including substantial auditing experience in governments and utilities. As CFO, Jim provides a valuable tool-set to the organization, providing business leadership. He is an instrumental part of the strategic and tactical planning process and plays an essential role in establishing and maintaining sound, ethical business practices. Jim provides direct value to our clients by watching for industry trends on a regional and national basis.
One of Jim's key initiatives is to develop benchmarking and project costing strategies to ensure the delivery of services to PCS clients is done in a cost-effective, timely manner. Jim is a member of the Iowa Society of CPA's (ISCPA) as well as the American Institute of CPA's (AICPA).
Dana Ingerslev

Administrative Services Manager
Administration Team Member
Dana manages the Administrative Services and Human Resources Department for the Company. Dana has been instrumental in developing and maintaining Company policies and procedures, as well as, personnel management guidelines, and adherence to state and federal employment laws and regulations. Dana is an integral part of the Quality Control Team ensuring the adherence of quality standards.
Dana has served on the Iowa Small Business Advisory Council, acting in an advisory position to the Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED) board.
Angie Miller

Business Services Manager
As Business Services Manager, Angie directs all aspects of the Customer Information/Billing solutions, Utilit-e Connect and Utilit-e Online. Angie and her team of support staff are vital links in the delivery of services to the client. Upon client acceptance, Angie is responsible for directing and managing installations encompassing the discovery evaluations, conversions, and end-user training. In addition, Angie and her team provide ongoing A-level support for all clients.
Angie's experience is concentrated in the areas of utility billing, customer information systems and accounting practices. She has an Accounting Degree from the University of Northern Iowa, and has obtained her CPA designation. Angie's competencies include an in-depth knowledge of the billing application, as well as, exhaustive knowledge and experience with customer billing, monthly reporting requirements, and other components of a total Customer Information System.
Angie's primary competency is her ability to effectively manage highly sophisticated, complex projects, and deliver value-added products and services to each client.
Marc Rowedder

Financial Applications Manager
Marc manages the development and deployment of PCS' financial application products and services and is the PCS expert on the financial application Utilit-e Insight. Marc has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Buena Vista University. He has spent most of his career at PCS and has been instrumental in the evolution of the financial application model.
Marc and his team focus on integrating data processing within a client organization to provide the most efficient information management solution. Marc has deployed and supported both in-house and third party accounting software and has been highly effective in all phases of deployment, including analysis, installation, training, and support. The Financial Applications team is focused on “continuous improvement” and is prepared to assist clients in this process.
Dan Kock

Product Development Manager
As Product Development Manager, Dan directs all aspects of the application development within PCS. Dan has over 23 years of experience in the technology industry, having had significant management background from two well-known and respected technology development corporations prior to his joining the PCS Team. Dan has the ability to evaluate system requirements in a host of environments with the primary focus at PCS in the Microsoft SQL Server environment. Dan is highly versed in project management, database design, and administration. His technical skills range from mainframes to PC’s; from COBOL to .NET; and include database experience in MS SQL, Progress, DB2, Oracle and various non-relational DBMS’s. Dan is an active member with NRECA on the design and deployment of the MultiSpeak project.
Dan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Buena Vista University.
Joe Popham

Manager of Information Technology Services
Joe is a veteran within the utility industry. Before joining PCS, Joe served as Information Services Manager for two utilities for 11 years. Joe brings a wealth of industry experience, as well as, a broad base of technical expertise. Joe has an extensive knowledge of the Microsoft environment that he provides to PCS and its clients. With his experience as a utility insider, Joe has an in-depth understanding of the daily challenges that occur within a utility. Joe’s primary charge is the management of the application hosting center, Utilit-e Central. Joe and his team are also heavily involved with the administration of the PCI compliancy, system security on all levels, and proactive monitoring of the hardware and network systems.
